Greatland Tent
Greatland tents are a Target brand, which means two things:
1.You have the backing of a large corporation, and
2. You bought a tent that was made by Target.
OK, given these two points, you can expect greatland tents to be relatively inexpensive, and cheaply made; not necessarily a bad thing, if you only go camping a few weekends out of the year.
In fact, for occasional campers with children, tents that are easy to set up are often seen as the best choice. After all, tents should outlast your kids last pair of shoes, no matter the quality. Greatland tents are renowned for their ease of setup; even one person can set them up in a matter of minutes. This is far and away the biggest advantage of greatland tents.
As for the durability, it leaves something to be desired. A common complaint is that the zippers tend to catch, and many people complain about leaks. However, you can solve both of these problems fairly easily. Purchase seam sealer from your local hardware store to patch up the tents; you can also get zipper wax from a camping store, or do what I do: add a little warm, soapy water to the zipper, wait a moment, and slowly run the zipper open and closed a few times.
Several people have also complained about how hard it is to find replacement poles. The best way to obtain these is from their customer support line; I can attest that their customer service is quite good over the phone, and will generally ship replacement parts within two to three days for any greatland tents.
