Yacht Brokers in Oregon
How to find some of the best yacht brokers in oregon
There are many yacht brokers in Oregon, though the main concentration is in Portland. Here are my recommendations on where to
start looking to buy or sell a yacht.
Oregon Yacht Sales. (www.oregonyachtsales.com) A great database for classified listings of yachts for sale. This company has been in business since
1987, and have consistently provided top level service for the past twenty-two years. While their website is pretty bare bones, the yacht listings themselves
are simple to navigate, with over 150 listings at any given time. This is a great site for starting your search.
Sundance Yacht Sales (www.sundanceyachts.com) I've spoken highly of this yacht brokerage for their office in Seattle. While I've never personally interacted with
the Portland office, I've had nothing but good dealings with them in Seattle. They offer a wide variety of yachts, ranging from 30K to over 600K and 24' to 49' (though
the size is rarely associated with the price, trust me!). In addition, Sundance also offers moorage services (both wet and dry), which streamline the purchase process and covers their buyers
from A to Z. You can contact them at (503) 283-3216 or visit their office at 570 NE Tomahawk Island Drive,Portland, OR.
Seaward Yacht Sales (www.yachtworld.com) In business since 1972, this company changed owners in the mid 90's without missing a beat. As far as prices go, they tend to have the best deals, though it
pays to shop around. While the prices are competitive, their inventory is really low, especially compared to Oregon Yacht Sales (at the time of this writing, they only had about 20 yachts listed in Oregon).
You can contact Seaward Yacht Sales toll free at 877-469-9416. The above yacht brokers in Oregon are listed in order of preference, and should be researched in that order. having said that, you should remember that they don't name the prices for their used yachts, the owners do. Be prepared to bargain, citing the Boat Blue Book if need be.
